FPT University Students Conquered the Second Highest Mountain Summit in the South
Reaching the summit of the Chua Chan Mountain (Dong Nai) - 837m above sea level, all the fatigue throughout the journey vanished and only a sense of elation lingered. It was the mutual emotion of FPT University’s FEV (FPT Event Club) members in the journey to conquer the second highest mountain summit in the south.
Chua Chan Mountain is a special landscape in Dong Nai. The mountain range is like an arch with three consecutive hills similar to an upside-down bowl. The mountain was marvelous and towering. In the morning, under the weak sunlights was the glowing mountain, sometimes covered by a dim mist. In the late afternoon, it stands high with the hoar sky and refreshing yellow lights. When the night comes, you can see a wide area from the summit, lights from houses, streets and traffic painted a colorful picture.
The journey conquering Chua Chan Mountain of FPT University students lasted 2 days, from 14/4. They chose to follow the sloppy path with lesser-known rock stairs instead of the familiar track for visitors. To reach the summit, all the students took more than 6 hours.
Mountain climbing is a teambuilding activity organized annually by FEV. The event aims to improve members’ strength, endurance and thereby forming a tighter bonding in the club. FEV also made a strong impression on both FPT University and other schools’ students through events like Water Rocket, FPTU First Step, FPTU Prom Night…
