Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised FPT University in the 4.0 Revolution

At the Vietnam ICT Summit 2018 on the morning of July 18, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc praised FPT University for quickly participating in the 4.0 industrial revolution to help Vietnam\ catching up with the pace of development in the world.

With the theme "Towards Digital Government and Economy", the Prime Minister wanted this conference to be an conference inspiring action, to make the development of e-government towards digital government quickly implemented.
However, in order to build a digital government, there must be resources for digital transformation. Currently in Vietnam and around the world, there is a shortage of millions of high quality IT engineers for this job.
In this context, the Prime Minister welcomed FPT University's tendency to deliver the message of focusing on quality and quantity training for this field. In Vietnam, FPT University is the leading school in training IT human resources.

In particular, FPT University has quickly deployed advanced learning programs and new technology subjects for teaching; and has been actively attracting talents to participate in the industrial revolution 4.0 to help Vietnam catch up with the world's development trend.

The 8th Vietnam ICT Summit organized by the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) and the Private Economic Development Board focused on acquiring experiences of leading countries, gathering knowledge of experts, businesses, policy makers and discussing together to propose solutions and programs implemented right in the period of 2018-2020, to show the government's resolve.

Accordingly, the Forum concentrated on 3 main contents including: Building e-government towards digital government; Digital Economics and Digital Infrastructure.
At the end of the Forum, the Vietnam IT Business Community also expressed the desire that the Government, the Prime Minister, ministries, central agencies, localities and social community continue to pay attention, support and accompany the industry, join hands to act for the future of national development in the digital age.
