According to estimates by the British Council, by 2020 there will be 2 billion people in the world using English, accounting for a quarter of the global population. In Vietnam in particular, there are now more than 1,000 foreign companies which have set up representative offices. The more popular English becomes,  the more career opportunities the people with proficient English will have.
