What’s so special about the Protection of graduation projects in the new-and-amazing campus?
More than 50 topics of 200 students will be presented in the graduation project protection term at the new campus of FPT University in Ho Chi Minh City. After a long-and-lonely Spring semester with online learning and online exams, the new campus will finally be more crowded with students.
The graduation project protection period is expected to take place in mid-May 2020.
After the foundation English course and 8 semesters, students will participate in project protection in Semester 9. This is the time when students apply the knowledge they have learned into real projects in about three months under the guidance of lecturers.
Spring semester 2020 projects are on many topics realted to education, tourism, technology... Students participating in this project protection and thesis defense period are students of Business Administration, Information Technology, Languages…

Nguyen Quang Uy - student who worked on the project "3D animation short film: Kind" shared: “Although we had spent 3 months eating and sleeping with the project, we were still confused a bit when standing in front of the council. The opinions of the our lecturers in the council are not only the comments from our teachers but also from the experts with rich experience. They really helped us a lot in learrning process.”
“I remember the most the comment of Mr. Phan Vu Linh and Mr. Nguyen Viet Tan. Specifically, Mr. Linh said that he did not think this was a project made by two students since it needs at least 10 people to complete such a movie. That surprised me a lot as my work was appreciated that much by a professional individual.”
And the comment that impressed me the second-best is belonged to Mr. Nguyen Viet Tan. He said that we have not really done our best, that statement gave us more confidence about our project. If we do a remake, we will add the missing parts like adding music like Ms. Phan Bao Chau's advice or adding camera angle like Mr. Phan Vu Linh said, and then we will render the movie with the highest resolution to release the best movie possible.” Perhaps for us, the project is a semester full of pressure, but also an opportunity to learn, to overcome our own limits.
The completion of the Graduation project semester can be understood as closing the time being a student at FPT University. Passing the project also means that the time staying in the school is almost over, students are about to graduate, to step forward with their ideal jobs and to pursuade their passions.
In May, many new facilities are expected to be launched such as library, many functional areas... F-students are very excited to have their graduation protection period in the new campus – what they have been waiting for so long.
